Most racing sites publish information — and most paid platforms bundle their data with someone else's conclusions. Veredus does the unglamorous part instead: normalising decades of results, reconstructing what was knowable before each race's off-time, and computing the features you'd otherwise spend years engineering yourself.
We don't tell you which horse to back. We give you the hard part — the engineered data — and you draw your own conclusions.
What “point-in-time correct” means
Every feature is computed only from data available strictly before the race's off-time — then the final figures are recomputed after results are in, and both are preserved. Historical stats that quietly include hindsight are the commonest flaw in racing data. Ours can't: correctness is enforced by tests, not editorial policy. The method is published — the VPR methodology and how we measure courses.
